Ateliér Tělového designu na Fakultě výtvarných umění VUT v Brně je intermediální ateliér. Je exkluzivním pracovištěm, které se zabývá reflexí a prezentací lidského těla, tedy i vašeho těla ve výtvarném umění. Zaměřujeme se na jednotlivce, na dvojice, na společenství. Vnímáme formu těla, kostru, anatomii, tvarosloví. Tělo je pro nás estetickým objektem, je krásné, i když je postižené. Je normální, i když je queer. Je velmi obyčejné, ale vyjadřujeme skrze něj transcendentální myšlenky. V těle se realizuje náboženství i politika. Jednotlivé rysy těla, gender, rasa, věk jsou často determinanty rozdělující společnost. Tělo otevírá hranici mezi uměním a vědami, inspirujeme se humanitními studiemi, psychologií, gender studies, pedagogikou, mediálními, postkoloniálními a environmentálními studiemi. společenskými vědami. Roli tělového designéra ve společnosti chápeme jako roli naslouchajícího, analytika, navigátora, tvůrce, spolupracovníka a aktivisty. Tělový design se řadí do stejné kategorie uměleckých aktivit jako sociální umění, komunitní umění, public art, social sculpture, guerillový urbanismus, sociální aktivismus.

Body design encompasses a wide range of intermedia applied arts. The use of art is understood as its ability to be used for another purpose, beyond the bounds of institutionalized art. The most natural area of activity is for body art design in public space and art projects with social themes. Body design belongs to the same category of artistic activities as social art, community art, public art, social sculpture, guerrilla urbanism, social activism. The body design takes the human body as the basis of its projects, which is the basic form of our being in the world. We can focus on the individual body, on the interaction between multiple bodies, on the coexistence of many human bodies ... and the spectrum of themes for artistic grasping spreads from formal, aesthetic, conceptual, social to ethical, religious and political. In teaching body design, we strive to follow the procedure from the body's own microcosm to the social body's macrocosm. The Body Design is characterized by a borderline between art and the humanities. For his work he draws inspiration from the fields of humanities, psychology, gender studies, media studies, postcolonial studies, environmental disciplines, special education. The ideal method is a hybrid mode of work that combines the freedom of artistic means with exact data and practices inspired by "soft" social sciences. Creation in line with Body Design is a combination of artistic, intuitive, conceptual and social sensitivity. The role of body designer and body designer in society is seen as the role of a listening, analyst, navigator, creator, collaborator and activist.

Tělový design je žena, muž, trans a queer. Kostra, orgány a organismus. Smysly: sluch, čich, hmat a sluch. Zrození, porod, mateřství, otcovství, mládí, stáří i smrt. Móda jako ochrana, estetika i jako politické gesto. Tělo v soukromí, v domácnosti, v rodině, i tělo opuštěné. Tělo vystavené, na veřejnosti. Tělo na slavnosti i na demonstraci. Vzpomínky, jizvy, historie. Tělo ve fotografii, instalaci, soše, performanci, akci, malbě, konceptu, slově, audiu, ve veřejném prostoru a na sociálních sítích.

The Art of Wage Labour

Making art as a job on which an artist does existentially rely on. What will I do after school? How does real artistic practice look like? How do I even survive? Object in shape of muzzle that symbolizes oppression made of action body painting. Piece manipulates with a viewers and encourages them to sten inside the muzzle so they can see the painting however by doing so they put on the muzzle for themselves. The painting was created as a performance which took 40 hours aprox. 8 hours a day as a full-time working in a week. There I was left alone with just paint, coffee, a snack and urine, with which became an essential materials for the painting.
